Searching the WWW for Camping Holidays

Facilites at our camping parks

Booking a summer holiday on the World Wide Web (WWW) used to restrict you to the high priced hotel resorts of the Mediterranean or the expensive city breaks throughout Europe. At least until Keycamp brought camping holidays to the web.

With the click of a few buttons you can now book a low priced camping holiday in destinations such as France, Spain, Italy, Holland and Switzerland. Some of the camping parks are within easy driving distance of the traditional Mediterranean resorts allowing you to buy virtually the same holiday but for a bargain price!

Travelling to your campsite

To add to the sense of adventure, Keycamp's campsites can be travelled to in three different ways; by boat, by train or by plane.

(Full details and advice on issues such as car hire, airport parking, transfers and even travel insurance and travelling with babies can be found at Keycamp Holiday Travel Options)

Fly-drive camping holidays allow you to fly quickly to a nearby airport before hiring a car for the remainder of your journey. Keycamp can arrange both the flight and car hire on your behalf, allowing you to choose which type of airline (scheduled, charter or 'no-frills') you would like to book with and what size of car you would require for your stay. Alternatively, if you plan to stay on the campsite and benefit from public transport links to nearby towns and cities, then you may prefer to arrange a transfer from the airport to the campsite.

Travelling via Train through the Channel Tunnel is an increasingly popular way to journey into Europe, especially if you will be staying in one of Keycamp's French holiday parks. The south of France (and northern Spain) is served by a number of MotoRail services which can be boarded at Calais.

A ferry ride is still the most popular way of entering mainland Europe from any number of ports in the south of England. Many French ports and even a few Spanish ports are served by the frequently running Channel Ferries. Once again, a member of the Keycamp booking team can assist you with your travel arrangements should you have any queries.

Multi-site camping holidays

If you are travelling a long distance to one of our campsites and wish to break-up your journey then you can stay in one of our other campsites on the way! For example, if you were driving to a campsite in Northern Spain you can arrange to stay for a number of nights in one of our campsites in the South of France. Not only will this allow you to experience more on your holiday but it will also give you a welcome break from the driving before continuing again the next day.

Modern technology such as the www advances us in many ways but we still cannot physically travel through the internet or camp on the www (unless you are taking a cyber holiday!) and who would want to? Now you've found us, Speak to us.
