Back on parc, you can while away hours relaxing at the stunning pool complex. New for 2012, this will include three impressive pools with slides and chutes, a pool bar and plenty of sunbathing areas. For something more active, hit a few aces on the new tennis court and if you’re after evening entertainment – this is the place to be. There’s plenty on offer both on parc and in the local town.

There’s even a superb aquarium which you might fancy. Check out the beautiful city of Tarragona with its interesting bars and seafood restaurants. It also offers Aquapolis, a splash-tastic waterpark perfect for those waterbabies in your family. For something nearer, try the local fishing port of Cambrils.

Large Theme Park with 5 different areas - Far West, Mexico, China, Polynesia and Mediterranea. A Great selection of rides, shows, Rollercoasters and games for the whole family. More than a million square miles of scenery. Excellent choices for places to eat and drink. Open 27/3 - 31/12 - closed weekdays in November and some in December.

AquaLeon Costa Daurada

A day packed with excitement for the whole family. A natural wild safari park with more than 600 animals. Exhibitions with marine animals, reptiles and birds of prey. The aquatic park has spectacular slides, wave pool, foam slide and crazy river. Self-service restaurant, cafeterias and shop.

Zoo - Barcelona

Barcelona Zoo first opened its gates in 1892. It is set in magnificent gardens covering 13 hectares of Ciutadella Park. It contains a collection of some 7,500 animals from more than 400 species, which have come from all over the world.

Monastery of Poblet

The Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet is a Cistercian monastery founded in 1151 by Cistercian monks from France. Closed down due to the State’s laws in 1835, the monastery was refounded in 1940 by Italian monks of the same order. There are 33 monks living in the monastery today.
