Set amidst pine trees, this lovely family parc is located on Portugal’s exclusive Riviera – the Estoril Coast. Just ten minutes’ stroll down a quiet road, you’ll find a fabulous sandy beach that’s complete with spectacular dunes and rolling breakers, and is also particularly good for windsurfing. On parc there’s a new swimming pool, bar and restaurant area.

Out and about

A great spot for exploring some of Portugal’s finest beaches, Guincho’s close proximity to Lisbon means you can even spend a little time discovering this wonderful capital. There is a bus stop at the entrance of the parc which will take you directly to the centre for just a few euros each way. If nothing else, set aside a day for souvenir shopping in the old town – stopping off at the famous castle. The incredible Sintra Cascais Natural Park should also be high on your sightseeing list too while Cabo da Roca, the western most point of Europe, is also worth a visit.
