A modern parc, close to the charming village and harbour of Jard-sur-Mer and perfect for a lively beach holiday.

L’Océano d’Or is a well-kept parc, ideally situated in unspoilt countryside. The swimming pool complex has a waterchute and waterslides, surrounded by spacious sun terraces. The parc offers a variety of high season family entertainment and live music in the special amphitheatre. The parc buildings have been built in traditional Vendéen style and the spacious bar has a relaxed atmosphere. The pitches are bordered with low hedgerows, and the parc enjoys a summer-long programme of activities for the whole family.  The super beach is a comfortable 1km away, making a day out at the sea an easy alternative.

The beautiful beach at Plage de la Mine, just four miles from the parc, is backed by pine forests and has rock pools that will keep children entertained for hours. You can visit the zoo at Les Sables d’Olonne or the château at Talmont St-Hilaire. Visit the Atlantic Toboggan Waterpark at St Hilaire de Riez – children will love the waterchutes and huge slides.

Château de Talmont St Hilaire

Located on a rock, surrounded by water, the fortress of Talmont played an important part in the defence of Poitou against the invading Normans. Years later, several kings of France were made welcome along with Richard the Lion Heart during the crusade years. Nowadays you can attend medieval demonstrations during the festival period
