The resort: Branville is a coastal hamlet, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge around the Cider trail. Visit the 18th century Church and its attractive little bell tower. The surrounding area: Villers-sur-Mer (8 km) with its market and lively pedestrianised streets, beach with children’s clubs (in season), the Vaches Noires cliffs full of fossils (listed and preserved site), the marsh (nature reserve, lake and bird island). Houlgate (12 km): famous for its beach, Belle Epoque villas and lively centre. Dives-sur-Mer (19 km) an attractive and well-preserved old town with authentic charm.
