A superb Castels parc, featuring a fun waterpark and set next to a lake beach.

Le Val de Bonnal enjoys a rural setting in the former estate of a château, and has a refined Country Club atmosphere. A river runs by the parc, popular for canoeing, and there are four large lakes within easy walking distance where you can swim, fish, hire pedalos and cycle. The lakeside beach is backed by large, grassy areas for sunbathing. The facilities are first-class, including a waterpark with waterslides and waterchute. The snack bar and reception are housed in traditional stone buildings.

Families travelling with small children please note that some of our treehouse pitches are located close to open water. Please call for more details.

Only conventional swimwear, such as swimming trunks are allowed in the pool.

Out and about

The surrounding area is full of places to explore, from the Alsace vineyards to the northeast to the Jura region in the southeast. The Dino Zoo, with huge dinosaur models, will be a favourite with children, and the Gouffre de Poudrey caves with its 'son et lumière' show are something for the whole family to enjoy.
