An impressive lakeside parc in Les Landes forest.

La Paillotte is ideally located at the heart of the Les Landes forest and on the edge of Lake Soustons. The parc has been developed to fit in with the attractive pinewood surroundings, and is set in the theme of a French Polynesian village. An ideal choice for active families with an extensive programme of daytime activities, including watersports and aqua aerobics centred around the lake, and a range of evening family entertainment. The pool, featuring a jacuzzi, bar and restaurant are located next to the lake. This parc is excellent for teenagers in high season.

The Landes forest offers a diverse range of activities such as cycling and horse riding. Dune du Pilat is the largest sand dune in Europe and offers views of the entire Landes coast. Take a trip to Bayonne, the capital of the Basque country rich in customs and folklore. Visit the Izarra distillery and try the liqueur made from a secret blend of Pyrénéen herbs.

La Pinede des Singes is an area in the Landais pine forests set aside for monkeys to live freely. Walk through the forest to observe the monkeys

Waterpark with a good selection of pools and slides and a childrens pool. Area for beach volley, boules, basketball and badminton. Picnic area and bar/restaurant.

Adrenaline Parc

Adventure Park - there is a course with tree trails - 40 obstacles from 3 - 10 metres above ground level including 'Tarzan's jump' the 'Monkey Walk' etc. Minimum height including raised arms: 1.80 m (recommended: trainers as footwear). Paint-ball games are also possible from the age of 14 yrs old (goggles are provided). Quad bikes, motorbikes, mountain bikes, mini-quad bikes/motorbikes (for 6 yr olds upwards) can be hired too.
