Based on a customer satisfaction survey

A woodland retreat, ideal for toddlers in low season and for children of all ages during July and August.

Camping Douce Quiétude is a wonderful family run parc near the lively resort of St Raphaël. Whilst quieter and more peaceful during low season, the parc becomes livelier in July and August when entertainment and discos are arranged for the whole family. Spend your days relaxing at the attractive parc swimming pool, where the children will enjoy the waterchute. Just 5km away are lovely sandy beaches, some of the best along the Mediterranean coastline.

Only conventional swimwear, such as swimming trunks are allowed in the pool.

    Customer suggestions

Take a look at some of the local recommendations for days out and activities our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Douce Quietude.

"We went to St Raphael and also the local beaches at Agay which were unspoilt and gorgeous. St Tropez was wonderful and we took a boat trip to St Aygulf and Port Grimaud, also wonderful. Marineland was fantastic and a great day out. We took a boat trip when in Monaco, an experience not to be missed and also went to Italy and sunbathed at San Remo! We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be booking to do the same again next year."
    K. Lyon, Kent

"We went to Monaco by train from St Raphael and got a very reasonable train saver ticket for a family of 4, just €35. We liked Agay beach which was close and small with easy parking. St Tropez by boat was a lovely visit, made more relaxing by not having to queue on the roads. Rafting at the Gorges du Verdon was great fun, albeit slightly pricey."
    V. Castledine, Derbyshire

"Would recommend St Tropez by boat from either St Maxime or St Raphael."
    A. Faine, South Yorkshire

"We liked the local town and the night market, this was great to visit. Agay beach was also lovely."
    M. Daisy, Hampshire

"We visited Monaco which was an amazing day out, people watching, looking at the yachts in the marina and the cars parked outside the casino. We also drove around the Grand Prix circuit which was superb for Formula 1 fans. We visited Aqualand in Fréjus which the kids loved. Note though that a lot of the slides here are for age 8 and above."
    K. Rippingdale, Lancashire

"We loved Glaces Angelo on the seafront in St Raphael. We bought our daily ice cream here after dinner."
    M. Foggin, West Yorkshire

"Cannes and the petit train was excellent. The boat trip from Port Grimaud to St Tropez was also great fun."
    R. Boyle, Lanarkshire
