Generously pitched, modern and comfortable homes are spaced around a landscaped parc where the accent is on fun and relaxation in equal measure.

If you’re looking for a stylish parc, we suggest Domaine du Colombier, part of the Yelloh! Village chain. The huge pool complex has been renovated for 2012, with the addition of a spa and new waterslides, plus there’s plenty of sunbeds for everyone. There’s a full range of sports to enjoy including tennis and volleyball, or why not enjoy a gentle workout with some aqua aerobics? The parc also has an outdoor fitness area, offering a selection of Les Mills programmes. If you’re looking for even more distractions, the delightful beach of Frejus/Saint Raphael is just 4.5km away. Due to its location, some road noise can be heard around the parc. Please be aware that a lot of our pitches are located on steep terraces.Only conventional swimwear, such as swimming trunks are allowed in the pool.

You can’t mention the south coast of France without conjuring up images of the Riviera’s handsome resort towns such as Cannes and St Tropez, both easily explorable from your holiday home. Stroll along the St Tropez promenade des Anglais, surely the best place to people-watch in Europe. For gentler thrills, explore the Var forest – a vast natural botanical gardens, richly perfumed with the fragrance of pine, vine and wild-flowers.

Grand Canyon du Verdon

The French "Grand Canyon". Spectacular views with the river Verdon running along the bottom of the gorge from Castellane to the Lac de Ste Croix. Length 21kms, depth 200-700m. 6-8 hours descent for experienced rafters only. The road from Castellane passes through woods & fields of lavender used in the perfumeries at Grasse through to Moustiers-Ste. Marie on the D952.

Through the glass-bottom hull of this boat you can view 14 metres deep into the Mediterranean and admire the marine life on the sea bed around Cap d'Antibes. Once in Monaco, would recommend the mini train tour over the bus tour due to it always being full. The beaches are good but height restrictions into car parks might reduce your choice. We also had an excellent day at Lac du St Cassien and St Tropez was well worth the visit."
