In Burgundy’s wonderful rolling countryside, Des Sources has a peaceful setting and modern facilities.

Des Sources is the perfect choice for a relaxing family holiday, just 500m from the pretty village of Santenay amidst the Burgundy vineyards. You are ideally situated to explore everything this beautiful region has to offer and conveniently close to the autoroute. As you relax on the sun terraces surrounding the adjacent municipal swimming pool (open and free to Keycamp customers 1/6 - 31/8), you can enjoy views of the hills backing the parc. The parc facilities are modern and well-maintained and includes a modest shop and snack bar. The pretty wine making village of Santenay is just a short walk from this parc and has a small number of restaurants and shops, plus numerous festivals and events throughout the summer months. Why not explore the area on your bike. There are a number of cycle routes along which to tour the nearby region.

Only conventional swimwear, such as swimming trunks are allowed in the pool.

Out and about

Beaune, Burgundy’s wine capital, is a short drive away and is well worth a visit for sampling the region’s many wines. The lively city of Dijon has many splendid historical buildings and monuments laying testimony to its long and glorious history. It is also renowned for its culinary specialities, which can be sampled in the city’s excellent restaurants. Chalon-sur-Saône is a charming market town with pretty old streets and a cathedral.

Attractions

Morvan Regional Park

The maison du parc is housed in a 19th century chateau which is a visitor centre and information point for the regional parc. There is a herbarium and arboretum showcasing the flora of the Morvan. The regional parc covers an expanse of over 200,000 hectares.

Zoo de l'Auxois

A pleasant zoo with many species of animal. There are several attractions around the zoo to entertain the children.

Parc Aquatique de Quetigny

Heated indoor tropical waterpark with many features including wave machines, waterjets and crazy rivers. There is also a restaurant area in the complex.

Parc Touristique des Combes

70 hectares of natural space in the heart of Burgundy. This leisure parc offers a number of interesting activities and events for the whole family. Attractions include a 400 metre summer sledge with speeds up to 40 km/h. A train journey lasting an hour and a half takes you through the magnificent countryside with views over the mountains of Beaujolais and Morvan.

Museum of Burgundy Wine

Designed in 1946, this museum traces the history of the vine and wine from antiquity to the present day. It presents the traditional way and crafts associated with wine making.

Château de la Rochepot

Château de la Rochepot has been standing on its rocky peak since the 13th Century. Rebuilt in the 19th Century after being destroyed in the Franch Revolution. English translations of the tour are available plus German, Spanish and Italian. English and German guided tours must be booked in advance. Allow 1 hour for a visit.
