Salou Spain

Salou is the tourist capital of the Costa Daurada in the Catalonian region of Spain. Salou boasts many tourist attractions and offers holiday makers stunning sandy beaches and clear ocean waters; it is one of Catalonia's most popular holiday destinations (behind nearby Barcelona) thanks to its attractions and Mediterranean climate.

There are many attractions near to Salou that are a must for visitors. One of these, definitely for families with teenagers is Port Aventura (formerly a Universal Studios Park).

Port Aventura is a fantastic attraction and easily accessible for holiday makers to Catalonia and Cantabria. This park has a number of attractions such as shows, fireworks displays and water rides; enough to keep all the family entertained. Port Aventura's main attraction is a massive roller coaster known as the Dragon Khan. Not for the faint- hearted, this roller coaster will give you a ride to remember!
