Overview

A wonderful vineyard campsite located on the Sommières heights between Camargue, the Mediterranean Sea and the Cévennes.

Ideally placed for exploring the many attractions of the Languedoc region, Domaine de Massereau occupies an enviable countryside vista amongst the vines of the famous Massereau estate.

Providing a warm and friendly welcome, the campsite owners have managed to create a perfect balance between the calm and quiet of rural France with the expectations of the holidaying family. In short, while you relax, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained!

Around and About

The medieval city of Sommières, with its Roman bridge, castle, market plaza and mansions is only a short drive away. The region’s numerous vineyards, including Domaine de Massereau, make this area a wine taster’s paradise. The Vidourle River provides ample opportunities to fish, canoe or swim. While the spectacular scenery around the foothills of the Cévennes makes a wonderful walking area, there are also cycle tracks from Nimes to Sommières.
