Overview

Close to a magnificent sandy beach, a modern campsite with a gymnasium ideal for families of all ages.

This lively site offers an excellent range of facilities. Lazy days can be spent soaking up the sun on the vast expanse of beach, sheltered by dunes. Relax on-site by the lovely swimming pool, or play a game of tennis before enjoying a relaxing sauna. Fitness fanatics meanwhile will enjoy the on-site gymnasium. The large bar becomes lively in the evenings during high season and noise may be heard from some pitches. Some of the pitches on this site offer shade from the hot Vendéen sun. One mile away is the resort of Longeville.

Around and About

The lively seaside resort of La-Tranche-sur-Mer has a regular market and plenty of restaurants. The fine Grand Plage at Les Sables d’Olonne is well worth a visit. La Rochelle, one and a quarter hours drive away by car, has a fortified harbour, cobbled streets, excellent shops and a popular Aquarium. You can take a boat trip to the Ile de Ré from the port, where you can sample the local oysters in one of the many restaurants in the old town.
