Overview

An impressive château campsite set in 130 acres near sandy beaches and featuring a magnificent waterpark.

A member of the Castels chain of campsites, Sequoia Parc has excellent facilities with superb pools to entertain the whole family. With a Country Club atmosphere the old stone farm buildings in the main courtyard, which house the restaurant and bar, have been renovated to provide a beautiful setting. During high season the site becomes more lively when evening entertainment and activities are organised. 5km away is the old town of Marennes, famous for its oysters, where you can sample the wonderful local seafood.

Around and About

The region is famous for the apéritif Pineau, and the world-renowned Marennes oysters. The great Cognac vineyards start forty miles away and you can take guided tours of the distilleries. The nearby Île d’Oléron has wonderful sandy beaches and impressive château.
