This small friendly, family-run campsite is well maintained and always in great demand.

Those looking for a relaxing beach holiday and families with young children will find Les Ecureuils an ideal choice. Just opposite the campsite, a sandy beach backed by dunes stretches for miles. St Hilaire-de-Riez is just a short drive away. On-site, the attractive swimming pool complex features a waterchute, indoor pool, spacious sun terrace, and poolside bar sheltered from sea breezes. Some pitches are separated by tall poplar trees and mature hedges, providing shade from the hot Vendéen sun.

Around and About

Shops, restaurants and the Atlantic Toboggan Waterpark are just minutes away at Merlin Plage. Here the sands are golden and fine and the beach shelves gently into the sea. For surfers, Les Sables d’Olonne offers big waves and the largest beach in the Vendée, an ideal area for exploring the coast and quiet villages by bike.
