Overview

Opposite a beautiful sandy bay, a small family-run site.Perfect for families with young children.

De la Baie is a relaxing site with a welcoming family atmosphere that is neatly laid out and very well tended. The owners take great pride in their site and are keen that campsite rules are followed to ensure the enjoyment of everyone. It has a magical setting on a quiet wooded peninsula, beside a sweeping sandy beach backed by dunes and calm shallow waters, ideal for younger children. There is a comfortable bar and crêperie opposite the site with panoramic views across the bay and a small but sheltered swimming pool on-site with waterchute. In high season the campsite organise games and activities for the children.

Around and About

La Trinité-sur-Mer, one mile away, has a good selection of bars and shops alongside the river estuary plus an excellent fish market. For a lively evening you can visit the bustling seaside resort of Carnac Plage. Explore the prehistoric standing stones at Carnac, or take a boat trip to Belle Ile. Visit historic Auray with its cobbled streets and half-timbered houses.
