Overview

A well kept campsite near to fine, sandy beaches.Ideal for families with younger children.

Set in the heart of the Calvados region, La Vallée is just one mile from the Edwardian resort of Houlgate. Our mobile homes are on grassy terraces, some with views of Houlgate. At the heart of the site is the old Norman manor house, now housing a friendly bar overlooking the pool complex. The new enthusiastic owners are keen to ensure you have lots to do on-site and organise frequent lively evening entertainment throughout the season. A little tourist train runs during high season and can occasionally be heard from some parts of the site.

Around and About

The sophisticated resort of Deauville with its yachting marina and casino is within easy driving distance. This is an area steeped in history, nearby are the Normandy D-Day beaches and the 11th century tapestry at Bayeux depicting the Norman Conquest. The remains of William the Conqueror’s fortress are at the city of Caen.
