Overview

The magnificent Château de Lanniron and its beautiful gardens form the centrepiece of a most attractive, peaceful Castels site. The original stone buildings have been converted to house the bar and restaurant. A fantastic new pool complex with waterslides opened in 2008 and also includes a balneo spa and hydrotherapy centre, so Mum and Dad can relax while the kids enjoy themselves. Customers can explore the park and gardens at leisure and children have acres of woods and meadows to play in, with activities organised for them in peak season. The sports centre, Creach Gwen, adjacent to the site offers a wide range of high season activities, including watersports for the more energetic. The river I’Odet hosts a wealth of water based activities and provides a stunning setting for this picturesque site.

Around and About

The old quarter of Quimper is full of pretty halftimbered houses and includes the magnificent Cathedrale St Corentin. There are numerous sandy beaches around 15 minutes' drive away and a good family day out is Pont Scorff zoo.
