Catalonia is the most northerly of Spain's Mediterranean regions, with a coastline interspersed with pretty pine-backed coves and white-washed fishing villages such as Rosas. Medieval walled villages stand amongst the pine-clad rocky Catalonian mountains, rising sharply from the coast, where beaches vary from long sandy stretches to sheltered coves. Its capital, Barcelona, has a continental atmosphere with a mix of history and culture.
Cantabria's coastline is known as the Costa Verde, or 'Green Coast', and a few areas of Spain have have greater natural beauty. Bordered to the east by Spain's Basque country, the region has its own distinct customs and traditions. The Atlantic coast is backed by beautiful snow-capped mountains and the gorges of the Picos de Europe.
Andalucia offers you an unusual choice of coastline experiences. Camping Capobino sits in the heart of the Costa del Sol, with its sophisticated nightlife and elegant marinas, while you are also close to the stunning Costa de la Luz, with its fine, golden sand and huge Atlantic rollers.
