Windmill Days

July - August (Sat only)
Every Saturday between July and August in the Kinderdijk area most windmills open their doors to welcome visitors. There are a few working mills still in Holland where the millers carry out demonstrations in and around the mills for tourists.

Dunya Festival

May (annual)
The Dunya Festival held in Rotterdam at the end of May is an open-air spectacular of art and culture from around the world. Variation is definitely the theme here with music, storytelling, poetry and performance from artists of all levels.

Holland Festival

June
Originating in 1947, the Holland Festival is the biggest Art Festival in the Netherlands and fills Amsterdam with a wealth of culture. It includes international performers of theatre, dance, music and opera with the classical elements being given a contemporary feel.

Julidans

July (annual)
Amsterdam's annual dance festival takes place on various stages at the Leidesplein and other venues across Amsterdam. Dances are performed by by international artists and contemporary choreographers. Text, visual arts, film and urban dance are a regular feature of this festival.

Scheveningen Kite Festival

September
Scheveningen Kite Festival, held at Scheveningen Beach just 25 minutes drive from Duinrell parc, offers the opportunity to watch kites of every shape and colour grace the skies - flying teddy bears, elephants, fish...

Visitors also get to check out the latest sports including kite-surfing, kite-yachting, kite-skateboarding and kite-skiing.
